Terms of Service

Tied ("we", "us", "our") Effective date: July 12, 2026 Last updated: July 12, 2026

By creating an account on Tied, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

1. The Service

Tied provides a wedding website builder that allows couples to create and publish a personalized wedding website on a subdomain of tied.wedding. Features include RSVP management, guest list management, photo gallery, and Filipino wedding-specific sections.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By signing up, you confirm you meet this requirement.

3. Account

  • One account per couple. One admin per account (the person who signed up).
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • Notify us immediately at hello@tied.wedding if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Payment and Publishing

Free to build: You may create, edit, and preview your wedding website at no cost.

One-time publish fee: Publishing your site (making it live at yournames.tied.wedding) requires a one-time payment of ₱1,000 (or the current published price at the time of payment).

Payment is processed by PayMongo. We accept GCash, Maya, and major credit/debit cards.

No Refund Policy

ALL PAYMENTS ARE FINAL AND NON-REFUNDABLE.

Once your site is published and live, the one-time fee will not be refunded under any circumstances, including but not limited to:

  • Change of mind
  • Wedding cancellation or postponement
  • Dissatisfaction with the service after publishing
  • Accidental payment

If you are unsure, preview your site fully before paying. You will not be charged until you explicitly click "Publish."

This no-refund policy is disclosed at checkout and your payment constitutes acceptance of these terms.

5. Site Lifespan

Your published site will remain live until 90 days after your wedding date as entered in your account.

  • At 60 days before expiry, you will receive an email warning
  • At 30 days before expiry, you will receive a final warning with a data export link
  • On expiry, your site is set to read-only (no new RSVPs accepted)
  • 30 days after expiry, your site and all associated data are permanently deleted

If your wedding date changes, update it in your dashboard. The expiry timeline resets to 90 days after the new date.

It is your responsibility to export your RSVP data before expiry. We are not liable for data lost due to failure to export before the deletion date.

6. Your Subdomain

Your chosen subdomain (e.g., markandshiela.tied.wedding) is granted on a first-come, first-served basis. We reserve the right to reclaim subdomains that:

  • Contain prohibited words (profanity, slurs, reserved system names)
  • Infringe on trademarks
  • Are associated with accounts in violation of these Terms

We maintain a reserved list of slugs that cannot be registered (e.g., www, api, admin, app, support).

7. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload to Tied (photos, text, names, music and other audio, etc.).

By uploading content, you grant Tied a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, stream, and deliver that content solely for the purpose of operating your wedding website.

You represent and warrant that:

  • You own or have the right to use all content you upload — including any background music or other audio
  • Your content does not violate any law or third-party rights, including copyright and other intellectual-property rights
  • You have obtained consent from individuals whose photos or personal data you upload (including guests, entourage members, and sponsors)

Copyright — Music and Other Uploaded Media

Tied does not review, license, or clear the content you upload, and uploading a song to your site does not give you any right to use it. If you add background music (or any other copyrighted material) to your website, you are solely responsible for securing whatever rights, licenses, or permissions its use requires, and you are solely liable for any claim of copyright or other intellectual-property infringement arising from it. Tied is not a party to, and to the maximum extent permitted by law accepts no liability for, any such claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold Tied harmless from any claims, demands, damages, penalties, and costs (including reasonable attorneys' fees) brought by any third party arising from content you upload — including, without limitation, copyright claims over music.

If we receive an infringement complaint concerning your content, we may remove the content or take your site offline while the complaint is resolved, without refund. Repeated or willful infringement may result in account termination.

8. Prohibited Use

You may not use Tied to:

  • Upload illegal, defamatory, obscene, or harmful content
  • Impersonate another person or couple
  • Attempt to access another user's account
  • Interfere with the platform's operation
  • Use the platform for commercial purposes other than your personal wedding

9. Guest Data

When you upload a guest list to Tied, you are the data controller for that information. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share your guests' names with us for RSVP processing. See our Privacy Policy for details.

10. Referral Agent Program

Referral agents are subject to a separate Referral Agent Agreement in addition to these Terms. Key points:

  • Agent referral codes are non-transferable and may not be resold
  • Agents may not use their own referral code to discount their own couple account
  • Commission is paid on the amount actually collected from the referred client (not the pre-discount price)
  • Commission is subject to a 30-day hold before payout
  • Agents are solely responsible for declaring commission income to the BIR
  • We reserve the right to suspend or revoke agent status for abuse, fraud, or violation of these Terms
  • We reserve the right to modify commission and discount rates at any time, with 30 days' notice for existing agents

11. Intellectual Property

Tied, its logo, templates, and platform design are the intellectual property of Tied Website Application Services. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from our templates or platform design.

12. Disclaimers

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY PHILIPPINE LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

We do not guarantee that the platform will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses. We are not liable for any loss of data caused by service interruptions.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of Tied shall not exceed the amount you paid us (₱1,000 or the current publish fee).

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including loss of data, wedding disruption, or third-party claims.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Taguig, Philippines.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. We will notify registered users by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
